REGISTRATION

Registration for the AUPO and UAO Annual Meetings and Educating the Educators will open in October 2013. Online registration is encouraged. Note that a single registration form can be used for both the AUPO/UAO Annual Meeting and the Educating the Educators meeting, although separate registration fees are required. Payment in full is required before any registration forms are processed. Non-members may be invited to attend through sponsorship by a member (chair) who will also be attending the Annual Meeting.

SPOUSE/PERSONAL GUEST REGISTRATION:
All attendees are encouraged to bring a spouse or personal guest to the Annual Meeting. Spouse/personal guest registration includes daily continental breakfast and coffee breaks, admission to the Thursday welcome reception, as well as the Friday evening reception and banquet. You can register your guest online when completing your own registration.

PROFESSIONAL GUEST REGISTRATION:
Non-member ophthalmologists are welcome to attend the Annual Meeting and Educating the Educators. Professional guests must be sponsored by an AUPO member (chair) that will also be in attendance. Professional guests are welcome to attend Educating the Educators without a member sponsor. You will have the opportunity to register your professional guest(s) when completing your own registration.

HOUSING
Reservations at the Doral Golf Resort & Spa at the AUPO-negotiated room rate will become available in October 2013 to those individuals registered for the meeting(s). Anyone who registers online will receive the information for hotel reservations on the payment confirmation screen. If you choose to submit a paper registration form the reservation information will be included in your registration confirmation email. Please note that paper registrations may experience a 1-2 day delay in receiving the reservation information.

The negotiated room rate for AUPO meeting attendees at the Doral Golf Resort & Spa is $279 per night plus applicable taxes and fees.

GETTING THERE
The Miami International Airport (MIA) is the closest airport to the Doral Golf Resort & Spa. The airport is served by all major airlines and has non-stop flights to 48 US airports. The Doral Golf Resort & Spa is 7 miles from MIA and takes about 20 minutes by car depending on traffic.

TAXIS
A cab ride from the Miami International Airport to the Doral Golf Resort & Spa is approximately $20. Cabs depart from the arrival (ground) level of the airport, just outside the baggage claim areas.

RENTAL CARS
Miami International Airport offers several options for rental car vendors, including Avis, Budget, Thrifty, Dollar, National, Hertz and Enterprise.
