Associate Member - Program Director

Program directors who are Associate Members shall include only ophthalmologists who apply for such membership, whose department or division head is a Member of the Corporation, and who are program directors recognized by the ACGME as "responsible parties." Only one such Associate Member may represent each program accredited by the ACGME in the United States or RCPS in Canada. In the event the Chair is also the program director, no program director Associate Member will be recognized from that institution. Program director Associate Members may not be the head of their department or division.

Any Associate Member who ceases to be qualified as noted above shall automatically cease to be an Associate Member.
